Slept really well last night. 12 hours. Despite the sore throat, fever and whopping killer splitting headache (yes, it was that bad) I had since the night before, I woke up finally with all of those symptoms gone. Galing talaga doktor ko! Thanks Ate Leslie! Mmmwah! Advil pala katapat ng headache ko. Oooh!!! Aaadvil!!! Hahaha!

And what to do now that I'm ok? The mall!!!!!

And off I go to Robinsons Place Ermita with Joey and Flor. Got home by 10pm. We watched Kasal, Kasalo, Kasali. Nakakatawa!!! I swear. Enjoyed it alot. Pag nambabae si Ron, gagawin ko sa kanya yung ginawa ni Judy Ann. lol. Since magkahiwalay kami nina Joey sa New Year's Eve, nag New Year's Eve Dinner kami kanina. And tomorrow, our New Year's Eve Breakfast with Ate Leslie and the twins inside her. lol.

Happy Birthday Kuya!

It's Kuya's birthday today. First thing I did when I woke up was send him an eCard. Wonder if he's checked his mail yet. It's already 12:30am there and he's still hasn't logged in. Guess we'll just have to greet him tomorrow. I remember what we did a year ago. We had so much fun. Dinner at the Treehouse and then videoke and beer back at ate's place. 3am, craving for Starbucks, so we head off to Starbucks banawe. Closed. "Morato! Morato! Morato!", Maan chants. And off we go. Had a great time. Haay. Hope Kuya's having a great time in Papua. Miss him terribly.

It's 4:41am. This sore throat is getting worse. Bad enough to keep me up all night. Got out of bed 4 minutes before 3am. Went to drink a glass of water. It's too early to go to the drug store to get a pack of Strepsils. Besides, I dont' think it'll do the trick. Rye said antibiotics will. Then again i don't know what to buy. Guess i'll have to wait a few more hours to text Ate Leslie for some professional advice. I hate this. It's driving me crazy! I pray that i'll get better by New Year. Sucks. Started with a sucky morning...now it's even a sucky evening. Demet.

I wake up today still with a sore throat. Only today it's worse. Hurts to swallow. Hate it. It's painful and itchy. What a sucky morning.

Can't wait to see Ron tonight. Thinking of going to Galleria to get a haircut and then meet him at 5 at Meralco so we can go home together. But then again, maybe tomorrow. I'll buy a new blouse to wear for New Year too. lol. Oh how I miss my Ron-Ron. *sigh*

Merry Christmas Kids!

I wake up from the touch of Flor's hand checking if I have a fever. Fortunately I'm feeling slightly better than I did last night. The start of a cold is always the part I hate the most. My throat is itchy and dry and I feel some phlegm beginning to form. Bummer. But I'm glad Flor's feeling much better. Her flu has passed. Hopefully she won't relapse.

I check my cell phone for any text messages. Greetings from Blythe, Camille, Mae, Nestlee, Grace and my bestfriend Jen-Jen to name a few. I smile that they remember and take the time to spend a peso to greet me. I get up and drag myself to the table for breakfast. Ate Leslie's yummy penne pasta with italian sausage and a tomato sauce is warm and waiting. I ate alot last night, and i eat alot today.

There's nothing in store for me today. I'll be home alone in a few hours. Joey and Flor will be going to Las Pinas to Flor's family. I decide not go with them coz there's nothing much for me there. I can't join Ron's family in Las Pinas coz of this cold. I wouldn't want Tita Beck to catch it. A cancer patient like her needs to reserve her energy on getting thru all the chemo and radiation rather than getting over a cold.

Ang saya saya. Haay. I miss Mummy and Daddy and Kuya. And I miss my baby. I'll have to settle with texting Ron all day. Merry Xmas everybody. I pray you are all well and happy. Mmwah!

Had lotsa fun yesterday at Abba's. Great food, great climate, and great company. True friends, no matter how seldom they see each other....will always remain true friends. True friends...always bring out my appetite. lol. Ate til i was sick. I hope I never do that again. lol.

Sisters

Spent the whole day with Ate Leslie yesterday. Bonding. lol. I accompanied her to the hospital for her check up. Her blood sugar was high the day before. We were there before 10am. Waited until the receptionist said to go have lunch coz the doctor would arrive at 12nn. So Ate and I walked over to Mickey D's along Dapitan for a snack. After 2 hours of talking about Kuya's at Ate Leslie's love story, and dreaming and imagining what the twins would be like years from now, we went back to the hospital. Waited another 2 hours until the doctor arrived. Hooray. We were done by 3pm.

It had been over a month since Ate Leslie last went shopping at Robinsons Place Ermita. Apparently her dad doesn't know how to drive there. lol. Anyway, we love that mall. Since her uncle was driving us, it was our chance. lol. We had our late lunch at Piadina Italiana. They serve great cappuccinos. Wish they had bigger cups though.

Fist stop, Top Shop. Ate bought a jacket, blue. She made me get one of the same style but in green. Her xmas gift to me. Was shy to get one. Never really been comfortable with people making me choose something for them to buy. Anyway, she also got a white blouse perfect for her growing tummy.

Next stop, Bread Talk where she bought the Floss bread she was craving for. We grabbed a couple of Coffee-o's too. Like an over sized cup cake. I ate mine a few minutes ago. Delish.

Lastly, Ate bought a blouse for Flor at Mango and I bought 3 dvd-rw's to burn the Heroes episodes so Flor can finally watch them. Ate Leslie stopped by this Factory something store (forgot the name) and we picked out another preggy blouse. So cute.

Headed back home to Dapitan where I waited for Joey and Flor. Ron went into OT again and then had a few drinks with his friends. Bday celebration. So I just waited for him at Mayon.

Loved yesterday. Mighty glad my brother chose to marry Ate Leslie. Naks.

Went to mass today with Joey, Flor and Ate Leslie. As usual, we were late. The homily had already started when we arrived. We sat in our usual spot where the giant turbo fans would turn our hair into afro by the time the mass ended. After mass we picked up Flor's officemate Maybelle and then drove to Mall of Asia. Joey and Flor had found out some restos opened early there so we had breakfast at Gram's Diner where they heard they served delicious towering pancakes. Funny though coz none of us ordered the pancakes except for Flor. I had the eggs benedict. It was ok. But Maxx Brenner still serves the best eggs benedict.

Ate Leslie's tummy was ofcourse bigger than the last time I saw her. She looks well and healthy and I'm glad the twins are doing well too. She's due for CS on March 1. Yey! I secretly kept my eye on her all day. Going with her to the washroom even if I didn't need to go to the john. Figured she should always have someone with her in case she suddenly doesn't feel well. Mahal ko yan at ang twins.

After breakfast we stopped by Chevrolet along UN avenue to check out the Aveo. Very nice. Flor wants the matic so Joey doesn't really have a choice. But the point is, she likes the Aveo. Joey's psyched. lol. Ate Leslie and I tried out the passenger seats. Very comfy. We like too. lol.

Our final stop for the day was SM San Lazaro. Flor needed to buy some groceries for her janitor and guard sa office. Pang noche buena. I was kinda nervous for Ate Leslie kasi bawal sa kanya masyado maglakad at mapagod. Pero all went well. I enjoyed today. Love my family.

And I'm even happier now coz I'm chatting with mum. She just got a new haircut and she looks good on the web cam. Saw a bit of dad in the back. Still my cutie king kong dad. lol. Had a few teary eyed moments but was able to brush 'em off before Mum noticed me on the webcam. I just miss her so much. Mum and Kuya will be home on Jan 31. Can't wait!

2006 just got better

I woke up today with excitement. Knowing that my prayers were answered. My Christmas and New Year won't be that bad after all.

I have a job! Last night, Andie and I went to Voisworx and to our surprise, the president of the company (whom her dad new and we had an appointment with) let us in to their board room. They were in a meeting but he went ahead and told us to leave our resumes with him and he'd put us into training. If they don't need people this december, we'd start in January. Perfect. Just perrrrrrrrrrrrfect. We were barely in there for 5 mins. No exam nor interview. Lol. Gets even better. There's a chance that after a month, we could be TLs depending on our performance. Ain't it cool? hahaha! Scary that it's all too easy. But I'm takin my chances. lol. We couldn't believe how things went last night. We still can't get over it. Too much excitement.

Ron had a great Friday night too. He went ahead home to Mayon-Retiro (my place) coz he wasn't feeling well and he wanted to watch the Ginebra game on TV. Anyway, he's been planning to move out and live by himself since it'll help us save more for the wedding. He got a text last night from his officemate about an apartment he could rent. Just P2500 a month. It has a garage which is what Ron's been looking for. The place is in Marikina. Closer to Meralco so he'll be able to save money on gas too. We'll both be doing alot of saving next year. We pray things will keep getting better and be rewarding for us. Makes me sad that we'll be seeing less of each other, but I know it's for the best. I'll be on my own in July too coz Joey and Flor will be moving to Las Pinas when our contract for the condo in Mayon ends. Sad, yes. But I know it's all for a reason. I just don't know where i'll be living though. Hopefully my parents will allow me to get a place of my own closer to work.

Anyway, soooo happy. Yey! Wee! lol.

I'm meeting up with Andie later at Megamall at 4pm. Gonna apply for a CSR position at a new call center in Ortigas. That means we'll be part of the pioneer batch which is good. Although there is a risk since it's a new company. Andie's dad was supposed to be a partner of the call center but he changed his mind. They know the owner and president though. Anywa, hopefully things go well. 16k basic is definitely not bad. I was 15k at CVG. Chat with you guys later. Ciao!

Dying for this year to end...

Man I can't wait for this year to end. Horrible year for me. With work...or shall I say lack of it. Though AskMeNow was the best job I ever had. And I met a lot of friends worth keeping for life. With family...they hate me because I have no work. Well mum and dad I'm not sure of. But my brothers. Pretty much loud and clear. Thanks sa mga Kuya ko for the boost of confidence. Though I understand. I'll turn it into motivation to make you guys proud. Need a job. So I can be Kuya's sister again. lol. So we can be friends.

Chatting with Russ right now. Talking about how Blue Frog Mobile (where she works) might start hiring in January. She said she'd refer me. For once I'm enthusiastic about inbound voice support. I wasn't that excited so I emailed my resume to her on the spot. lol. Can't wait! I think I see some kind of light at the end of this dark dark tunnel. Lord, please let 2007 kick off right. Pray, pray, pray.

Oh yeah, Andie and I applied at this company in Ortigas. Oloot! Inc. Email/Chat support for a gaming account. Emailed our cover letters and resumes 2 nights ago. Still no word. Sent a text to follow up. No reply. If i had to choose between the two, BFM seems like a better choice. Why? Location. Makati is way closer and easier to get to than Ortigas. But then again, I just want this year to end and 2007 to start. Now na, now na. lol.

Went home to Bulacan for the weekend. Missed my cousins and friends. Despite the typhoon, I was still able to enjoy my weekend with the people i call family and the place that is home the most (even if it was only me in the house).

That's my cousin Beng in the pic. We've been best buds since. Though we've had our share of trials, she's still the same bubbly crazy comedian we all know. I'll always be able to talk to her about anything. Saw my bestfriend Leila too. So many stories to tell. Not enough time. Oh well.

Was John's birthday bash Saturday night. We had dinner with his mum, dad, family ng gf nya, and some other friends. Chinese food. Fortune Restaurant in Malolos. Good food. My first time to eat peking duck. I think the fat on the duck made me dizzy. lol.

After dinner, we drove back to John's place for beer, more food and videoke. Had alot of laughs, reminiscing college and review days. Oh, see the girl in the last pic? The one in white next to Argee in lavender? That's Duyo. She's a he. Pretty noh? She looks more like a girl than i do. lol. Super bait. Funny too. They left early.

We welcomed John's birthday with Enrique Iglesia's Escape and ended the night at 3am. Hopefully we'll have a Christmas party at Marlon's place. Can't wait.

Been away in Las Pinas since Sunday til Tuesday night. Ron's cousin's wedding on Tuesday. Since Ron couldn't pick up his mom and nephew from Bulacan and drop them off all the way in Las Pinas on Tuesday, he dropped us there on Sunday. It was fun. I got closer to his family and his titas and cousins. His mom too. Sean, his nephew is a handful. Like all kids at 4, makulit. Pero hindi yung kulit na nakakainis. Malambing kasi. The nice kind of kulit. lol. Labo. Anyway, i was basically a babysitter but i didn't mind.

Ron made it right before the mass started. Ganda ng church. Air-con. Sarap. lol. St. James sa Ayala Alabang. Very nice. As in most weddings i attend, i cried when Mimi, the blushing bride came walking down the aisle and was given away by her brother. The wedding was fun. The couple did a song and dance presentation when they were presented as husband and wife sa reception. Cute. The food was scrumptious. Filled my plate with nearly everything at the buffet table and finished it all. I think i found the weight i lost after Turbo Jamming for 3 weeks. Shet. Oh well. I need to buy new shoes for events like these. Lower heels. Or maybe flats. Sakit kasi. ahuhuhu. Never again. Congratulations to Mike & Mimi. Very cute pair.

Made 1k today. lol. Galing noh. hehehe. After i went to Glorietta, i went to Russ' office to give her the Turbo Jam dvds i burned for her. Bitin. I was supposed to be there earlier para during her break kwentuhan kami. But i was late. Makwento kasi yung mineet ko. Funny coz she says she's fat when in fact she's very slim. 128lbs standing at 5'6". She's far from fat. Sheesh.

Still have to bring an umbrella though. Hate that. Andie's probably hit one of her lowest lows so i'm hoping she'll be able to have coffee with me later. Poor thing.
